It's an honor to be chosen as a Maid of Honor or Bridesmaid. Make your girls feel extra special by crafting a handmade card asking them to be your bridesmaid. They'll be moved by your DIY gesture. Here are my DIY bridesmaids cards I sent to my girls.

Thoughts of warmer days to come.....

I'm so glad the sun is out to melt the snow( shhh..and so I wouldn't have to help my husband shovel)and ice here in the Northeast. I'm having thoughts of warmer days to come. We just have to get through February to actually enjoy the sunshine. Until then, how about bringing the warmth of spring indoors. I found a cute idea for a kids garden party or shower. The ladybug invitation is too cute. Check out Coolest Party Ideas for more pics.

TAG: I'm it!

I've been tagged by Sony from Bridal Bliss so I"m abiding by the Rules...

1) Choose a minimum of 7 blogs that you find brilliant in content or design
2) Show the 7 winners names and links on your blog, and leave a comment informing them that they were prized with "Honest Scrap." Well, there's no prize, but they can keep the nifty icon :)
3) List at least 10 honest things about yourself

So here it is, 10 things about me.....

1. I’m obsessed with dinner ware, glassware, serve ware, and anything you can serve food and drinks on or in.
2. I love to cook and enjoy eating my own food
3. I thought my husband was weird when we first met, because he laughed at his own jokes. I’m now use to it.
4. I sometimes go to sleep to the sounds of the ocean or rain on my hometics alarm clock.
5. I hated turtlenecks when I was a little girl, so I cut the necks off of them.
6. I’m a hoarder; I can’t help but to save shopping bags so I can reuse them. I also try to get more than one use from my paper towels, you know your and wash them right? That’s if they are strong enough. If I dry dishes with them, I would use it again to clean my counter top. Hey, it’s a way to go green too!
7. I still can’t believe that my metabolism actually had the nerve to slowed down.
8. I am a reality show junkie.
9. I’m not only a fete fanatic, but also a shoe, handbag, clothes, and just about anything you can use to dress yourself up in, fanatic.
10. I think my mom is a wise woman and always has the right answers when it comes to relationships.

Now, I am tagging....

The Wedding Party

Last Saturday I attended the Wedding Party at the New York Palace Hotel hosted by The Wedding Library and Elegant Bride. And oh what a party it was. My day began at 10am, and concluded at 4pm. Sounds like a long day, huh? But honestly, it didn’t feel long at all. It was very informative and truly an amazing experience that stimulated all of your senses with tasty treats, aromas, Band Showcase, a vast variety of textural bloom, and just all around eye candy! Follow me as I take you through my day at a Fabulous Wedding Party.

The morning started off with an introduction from The Wedding Library and Elegant Bride editor in chief Antonia van der Meet and guest speakers, fashion designer Lela Rose and event designer Colin Cowie.

Next I toured a ton of gorgeous vendor Showcases. Take a look...

One room was filled with an array of Lisa Hoffman of Cici New York beautiful luxury couture stationary.

There were a variety of Stationary Vendors with pretty designs..
