OOT Bags

Want to give your traveling wedding guests a special treat? Design your own out-of-town gift bag just for them!
An out-of-town gift bag can be as elaborate or as simple as you want. You can start with deciding what type of container you want to use for your "bag." Then what you will include. It's nice to include items that speaks to the bride and groom, the wedding theme, or even the setting of the wedding. The sky's the limit! Just be creative with it. The most recent wedding I attend had the cutest OOT bags. The wedding was held in FL, and included items that you can utilize while you were there, and also complimented the wedding theme well. She included a Florida orange, water, flip flops, Wake-up Call (an Alka Seltzer product that provide relief for hangovers. You may need it after a wedding.) seashell candy, trail mix, a welcome letter, itinerary, and a map of area and things to do. I'm sure there were a few more items, but I can't remember all of them. Take a look....

Hand written sand dollars were an added touch to this already fun OOT bag.

Great idea. I love those bags! And the sand dollar is such a neat tag.
Thanks for sharing. :)

super cute ! do you happy to know the name of that material that is hanging with the sand dollars? i've seen it used before on other projects, but cannot find the name of it, it looks like raffia, but it comes in sheets and is thicker and rougher. thank you!
